Being a nerd or geek should never mean being alone

The StarDust Foundation will support youth mental health, wellbeing and belonging in the geek and nerd community. Everyone deserves a safe place to be themselves, online and offline. For many young people, fandoms are more than interests. They're lifelines. Our community includes many who are neurodivergent and many who are LGBTQ+, including trans people. Each of these groups meets isolation, misunderstanding or exclusion in its own way. We want to change that by creating places where people feel seen, supported and able to connect on their own terms. The long-term goal is to reduce isolation, prevent self-harm and improve mental health in the communities we reach. The same principles shape how StarDust Meet is built, from anonymous participation in MEET to strict data separation.
